Aishah & Suhaimi Solemnisation 10 January 08

::THE DAY BEFORE::

It was a busy day for me. Although Pak Teh brought his two maids (one is his, the other is my grandma's) to help us clean the house, but there are still some things that need to be done.. No angkat2 barang for me, that was my dear hubby-to-be warned me.. hihihi.. takut nanti terseliuh katanya..

Mokde, Tok Su and Baby came from TGG earlier to help around.. When Tok Su prepared our makan-makan, there are no excuse not to eat.. simply delicious!! Later on, Kak Jah and some others from Kuala Berang arrived.. Not to forget, Pak Teh & family, Mak Lang and Kak Lina, Pak Ngah and family dropped by that day.. Wow, ramainya orang..

My mom, baby and I rushed to Subang to pick up mom's baju kurung for tomorrow.. Then I was going here and there to prepare all the forgotten stuff (banyak benda asyik terlupa lah).. Not to forget BridalMate team was busy in my house preparing the pelamin, stairs, my baju and other stuff.. Big thanks to Abg Halim for his ideas and everything!!

Elok pulak dah malam, I just remembered opppsss.. signboards tak buat lagi lah.. owh no!! tak sempat dah nak print malam-malam ni.. Last resort, we searched for marker, few A4 size papers, and I passed the job to Kak Chu.. She's the creative one.. ;) Then, we rushed to section 2 to laminate all the signboards, and that was when i realized I forgot to buy my daily colour lense for tomorrow and my reception day.. heheh.. Off we go to Giant 13 to get my little but important items..

::THE BIG DAY::

I woke up at 7.30 am.. Shoot!! I'm late.. Cepat2 masuk toilet mandi2, then pakai baju biasa lah.. Then turun bawah kejap.. My make-up artist was already waiting for me.. malunya saya!! About 8.30am, SallehNasruddin arrived.. We had our breakfast, then it's serious time.. Getting ready = lots of patients.. 2 hours to sit there and let other people paint your face?? penuh dengan kesabaran ok..

My maid of honour (Naya) did a great job!! I didn't expect her to be early.. I just asked her to be there at 10.30 am (during the solemnisation).. but she came early with her 'pengapit'.. hehehe.. Sungguh happy dan tenang bile nadia dalam bilik sama.. Then ayu sampai.. they were laughing and making me forget that I'm about to change my status in any time..

When Vida (the make up artist) was halfway doing my hair, I received an sms from Sayang saying "I dah sampai".. Shoot!!! I'm not yet ready.. Perut tetiba je senak.. hihi.. takut jugak ek time nak nikah tu.. Then my dad was panicking and asking my aunts to get me.. Hello!! Tak siap lagi lah.. ;) but Vida did an excellent job in no time.. I am ready to go down.. The moment of truth.. heheh.. konon.. I managed to hear the wifey part as wut the imam jurunikah bersyarah.. Then, it's time for akad nikah.. Bismillah.. I was so nervous as if I was the one doing the akad.. hahaha.. Couldn't stop thinking about him.. Is he as nervous as I am?? shaish..

With sekali lafaz, I am now Mrs Suhaimi.. Tak sangka kan?? hehehe.. Tapi kan, I didn't cry.. Why ek? Was it because I was too nervous just now? ;( My mom, aunts and some other did shed some tears.. happy ones though..

The event went on smoothly.. Alhamdullillah, it didn't rain.. Just after the event was over, it rained.. ;) Got to see lots of my old friends, my officemates, unimates.. Owh, not to forget org yang stay lama: Wafaa and Rozalinda

Am definitely really happy, can't wait for the big day to happen.. but there's too many things to be done.. sigh.. have to take out my study table and repaint my room from pink to rosy white.. *termenung sekejap* Am really gonna miss the pink painted room...

On the wedding issue, i managed to do the fitting session somewhere last week, but have no time to update my blog then.. it's only works works and works.. let it be office or wedding or just merely cleaning the house.. There's a lil part of me that wants to move to new crib soon.. but, we gonna take it slow ;)

Tonight am supposed to have another fitting session.. both my wedding reception baju.. can't wait.. hehehe

Gonna have another facial session next weekend, so this weekend am supposed to do hair inai-ing, trimming, stimming and treatment.. but first, have to chuck out some items to make my house look more.. urm.. bigger space?? doubt that it can be done.. sorry mom, just the truth.. hehehe.. banyak sangat lah barang2 tu..

Received my FIRST wedding gift from aunty maizan and family.. advanced eyy?? hehee.. she's from kota bharu kelantan, and she couldn't make it to my wedding solemnisation dan also reception ;( really appreciate that she dropped by all the from kelantan, just to say that she's sorry she couldn't make it.. and, she's just my mom good friend.. not even a relative ;) sayang aunty.. hehehehe.. it's not the gift that counts, just the thought ;)

untuk majlis resepsi pulak, confuse nak gunakan salleh*nasruddin ataupun adi*nang.. dua dua pun aku minat.. so final decision bergantung kepada budget constraint.. haish.. nak kawin ni, belanja besar lah.. ;( tapi kan, sekali seumur hidup.. hihihi

other than that, hari ni aku keletihan lah.. macam2 hal dari tempat kerja ni.. issue melambak lah pulak.. dan, macam mana kalau aku nak cuti sebulan ek? rasanye lepas tak?? cross fingers hard lah..

sakit belakang ni datang balik.. :( ini tandanya aku dah meng-strain-kan tulang belakang ku.. Erm, tak tau lah pernah post kat sini ke kan.. tapi tulang belakang aku ni bengkok sikit.. maka kalau over-used, memang akan sakit.. hai.. macam mana nak bawak baby dalam perut nanti ni??

malam ni ada appointment dengan photog en mie.. aku pun tak tau saper orang tu.. tapi mie ajak ikut sama.. ;) waa, decision made for both side together-gether lah.. hihihi.. seronok pulak..

terasa nak makan telur bistik.. lama tak buat.. :( dah ingat2 lupa dah.. tapi kan, daging ada ke ek?? ini akibat jarang masuk dapur.. nanti masa ada dapur sendiri, boleh lah nak monitor barang rumah.. ni bila ramai yang guna, susah nak tau ada ke habis ke.. ye lah, penah jadi hari ni aku pakai ada byk lagi balance, lusa dah lesap.. ada orang masak lain pulak.. hihihi.. nasib nasib..

hari ni kat ofis ada orang dapat bunga lah.. ;) merajuk dengan tunang terus dapat bunga 2 dozen.. red roses pulak tu.. ;) alangkah bestnyer kalau en mie seromantis itu.. but, i am not complaining ;) he's romantic in his own ways... sayang dia..

ok lah, time to final countdown to 5.30pm ;)

Excitement arrives!!

Well.. I'm starting to get really excited now.. Already given my form to dear daddy.. He's going to JA*IS today..

Last night, me and dear fiance went to meet Abg Halim again.. For fitting.. I gave him my akad nikah kain.. ;) It's going to be kurung moden, without the princess cut dart.. Cos I want it to be loose.. So, tailoring will be completed by end of this month, and beadings will be done by end of December.. ;) Tak sabar nyer... So end of this month, I'll get to try my baju.. hik hik hik..

It seems my mom had met abg halim for the home decor discussion.. wow, all dah discuss? then, semalam we just discussed dear fiance's side ;)

Hmm.. Today I am on MC.. Reason: Food poisoning lah.. Semalam makan banyak.. perut jam kot? malam makan lagi.. hehehe.. So, pagi ni perut meragam..

Besides that, my door gift will arrive today.. ;)

A question from dear friend

Few days ago, a dear friend asked me why I am blogging indirectly about my wedding preparation? I thought I've written as clear as I should ;) Then she replied, I don't write about what colour I'm using, what have I actually done bla bla bla.. To answer this, here's some point to explain to her why I'm writing it shallowly.

More people are reading my blog silently now.. Friends from school, college, uni, works.. That is why I'm writing about my wedding shallowly.. Kalo tak, nanti tak surprise lah kan.. Besides, if everybody knows the exact details of it, then when the big day come, the excitement won't be day ;)

So dear friend, if you wanna details.. U know where to buzz me ;) *wink*

A nite for gift and material hunting

We had an appointment with the planner at 8pm tonight.

His mom reached my house at 5pm so I asked her to buat macam rumah sendiri.. huhuhu.. Lucky for me, she did buat like her own place.. Syiok tengok aunty lepak.. I reached home at 6.30 while sayang arrived about quater to 7..

We first went to PK*NS to survey the doorgifts.. Hmm, my mom found something that she likes so much.. Boleh tak, straight away she book the doorgift for the nikah event?? hahaha.. I kinda not agree to that lah, sebab ingat nak survey2 lagi.. ;) but she said, "ko ingat ko nak kawin lagi 2 tahun, we have no time lah sayang oii".. OK, she's the boss kan.. So, pasal gift2 ni mmg keputusan muktamad dia lah.. ;)

His mom found another gift here yang dia berkenan.. ;) So dear fiance dah pening.. Which one to get.. My opinion, the first one looks more classy but 2nd one more convenient.. ;) Baby fikir2 dulu ok ;)

Then shoot to SA*CC Euro*moda for the sanding material hunting ;) Waaa, banyak kain yang planner keluarkan.. So I have to be the model lah.. After 2 hours searching (sampai org tu dah vakum2 ok), we got what we one.. ;) agreed by all parties.. hehehe.. Alhamdullillah..

Kain Kain

Last Saturday we (me, him and our mums) went to get the kain2 for the maid of honour, bridesmaids, my grandma, his usherette and mine too ;) Also the bunga pahar for the akad nikah pelamin.. Owh, the ribbons for the penolong2 majlis nanti.. huhuhu.. At least people know who ask questions to.. ;)

The jalan2 update:

• He supposed to reach SA at 10am, but he called me saying he will be late.. Hmm, dah alang2 nak guna Swift and dah lama baby Swift to tak mandi, I went to carwash at Sec 13.. I tot of checking the tyre pressure (since the day b4 raya incident still freaks me out) but orang depan tu terhegeh lah..
• We reached there about 12 and by the time we ready to leave dah malam lah.. huhuhu.. Ganaz betul tengok dua orang mak shopping untuk anak2 nak kawin.. ;)
• I did not managed to get even a bite of food.. Pukul 5 baru dapat makan.. Pergh.. Shopping nyer pasal kan..
• We went to few kedai kain and patah balik to the first one.. ;) I like the lace at the 3rd shop but the satin is not nice ;(
• We got the kain for maid-of-honour, bridesmaids, my nenek and usherettes including extra kain hunting for me and my mom ;)
• He's interested in something (doorgift item - nak explain pun tak reti), but will go there again to get it.. Itu lah, mama cakap bawak naza taknak.. sheesh..
• We sesat for a while masa carik makan.. so our journey was Selangor, N9, Selangor, N9 and finally malam back to Selangor.. hahaha..

Malam tu ada open house aunty Ani kat Sri Damansara.. Jalan2 lagi.. hehehe.. Malam tu we sorted the kain2 (his side and my side) then dia pun nak balik dah.. Owh, his mom accidentally took my bag ;)

Kawin Kawin

Semalam, we had an appointment with the tauke bridal kul 8.30pm.. Ye lah, arini kan nak gi cari kain.. :) He gave a lot of suggestions and ideas.. Warna apa sesuai, kain cemana yang elok.. Altho he's charging agak mahal for sewa baru, but i think it's worth it lah.. sebab, beli lace kat euro*moda pun yang kat belakang tu kan.. hehehe.. So, we got the idea on what colour to look for.. :) His side will also be having an almost seakan akan colour.. So, leh laa membudget on the flower girl, usherette and pengapit attire (i know my pengapit will most prolly read this, but don't worry k.. Nice one for you).. hehehe..

Lepas tu the quotation sangat berbaloi ok.. Still beribu lah jugak but mana2 pun sama kan (nama pun kawin) hehehe.. Tapi dia offer the gubahan dulang hantaran FOC for all (lelaki pompuan).. Then the bunga pahar for hotel reception pun (which I asked before to his staff, it's about RM 40 satu kot, tapi kalo yang sama lah.. mataku sudah ngantuk kan)... Then the baju for lelaki side, mula2 nak sewa baru, then terasa nak amik terus.. He's charging for harga sewa baru je.. hihihi.. Mie cakap, mama tak bargain pun dapat macam2.. Mama kata, kalo bargain2 nanti nampak cam kite berkire, so senyap je dulu.. Lagipun, nasib je sebab she knew the pak andam ni..

Mama and i planned to have a one-point-centre lah awal2nye.. But Pak*Engku quotation is a memang-tak-mampu for us lah.. hihihi.. So, we decided to look for others.. Lagipun, tauke bridal gallery ni memang ada kontrak kat tempat majlis persandingan aku nanti.. So, our hajat is kind of tercapai :)

Today, nak kena survey2 jugak.. Rasanya:

1. Kain for pengapit
2. Kain for Bridesmaids (tapi taktau sape lagi lah)
3. Doorgifts
4. Langsir2 baru
5. Barang2 hiasan bilik
6. Anything yang tersuka lah..

Maybe hari ni survey je dulu, esok2 baru gi beli :)

Ok, nak mandi dah ni.. Wish me luck ;)

Any relations??

I finally managed to have a nice chatting moment with Puan Wafaa.. hehehe.. sounds a bit weird there to call her Puan.. ye lah, kan dia dah selamat melansungkan majlis perkahwinan (akad nikah, sanding dan bertandang).. best jugak berborak since dah lama tak bercerita panjang lebar..

I also had a nice email chatting with Miss Rozalinda.. mostly about her preparation lah.. since I haven't start mine yet.. only simple2 things lah..

Another lady tendered from my department.. hmmm.. i think she gets a better offer outside.. ;)

Owh, went for another wedding hantaran shopping spree last night ;) meriah meriah.. i loike ;) He got the one he likes so much, and i got mine *wink*

More of wedding preparation

It's my first day of work.. after raya.. Sigh.. Baru first day dah boring tau.. I bet it must be because of the config notes thingy.. Bosan lah asik buat config notes jer..

Today, Hairil and Pushpa went for their HR project training.. Good for them lah..

Me?? I'm stuck here.. No news of anything yet.. Rasa sangat bosan bila banyak benda nak settle kan dalam satu masa.. hihihi.. Cemana tuh??

Today I'm going to have lunch with my dear fiance.. Love him Love him Love him.. hehehe.. He's being very supportive of the wedding pressure things (ye lah, kan kami gatal nak kawin sampai tinggal less than 15 weeks to go?) So, semua preparation express lah.. Hope everything will turn out well on the wedding day itself..

I proposed to dear friend last Friday ;) Called her asking for a lepak session, then we went out for dinner, then went to her crib (serious best lah tempat dia tu, hope i got the chance to lie down at the 2 hours sofa) more borak2, then I popped the question.. hehehe, macam wedding proposal pulak.. Anyway, she agreed ;)

So now, I got myself the maid of honour!!! ;) And dear sayang got himself the bestman ;) Who?? Well, I can't tell anyone yet (except the maid of honour lah) hehehehe

Next step: To get the bridesmaids (e.g; flowergirl lah).. I'm planning to get the big girls to do the part.. hehehe.. takut nanti anak2 kecil meragam cari mummy dia, mati lah nanti flowergirl hilang ;)

We planned to bring our moms to Nilai 3 for the door gift hunting session.. Alang2 tu, we also going to Nilai1 for the kain2.. Well, the flowergirl, maid of honour, bestman, family members going to get the kain.. oppps, famaly members yang ada tugas saje tau.. Ingat nak shoot S*S*F kat Ban*dar Sri Daman*sara tu sama.. ;) Maybe to Kamdar as well (as suggested by my MAID-OF-HONOUR). shessssh.. It sounds soo exciting lah bile sebut that word.. I know if she's reading my blog, she'll be smiling too ;) hehehe..

A trip to JA*IS

I went to JA*IS this morning to get all the required forms for the kawin kawin event..

Kuar umah kul 1130 am.. Reached there at 11.45 am.. Then gi kaunter pertanyaan and amik pas pelawat.. Naik lif tingkat satu ok (note: kot kot ada nak carik tempat amik form ke kan).. Actually I wanted to buy the HIV test form je.. Since I've downloaded all the other FREE forms from Ja*is website.. Tapi HIV form je kena bayar sepuluh hinggit!! takpe lah, nak kawin punye pasal, i sanggup you!! *sambil lembutkan tangan ok*

Ada 3 orang kat kaunter.. And orang before aku dah pun selesai.. Sampai turn aku, dia mintak lesen (note: kan IC kena tinggal kat kaunter pengawal).. Then tunggu lagi.. Mereka bertiga tengah seronok berborak sambil tengok2 kuih raya dan kerepek.. Haish.. Hangin ku dah naik.. Tapi takpe, sabar2 lah di bulan puasa (note: nak nak tinggal baper hari je lagi kan)..

After they had their chatting session (which is almost 5 minutes), ada minah ni tanya lah, "Bang, lesen ni nak buat ape?" Erk, itu lesenku!!! Cheh, rupanya baru nak carik form2 itu!! @#$@^$^.. Then namaku dipanggil.. Pastu dia pun mula bertanya soklan2 skrip dia lah.. Tapi suara dia, kerek gile ok.. Muka je cun.. adeh.. *tepuk dahi* Sabar2, kan pose...

Lepas selesai semua, aku pun turun balik lah.. Amik IC aku kat kaunter pengawal tu.. Nasib baik kakak and pakcik kat situ peramah dan sentiasa senyum.. sejuk hati aku yang hangin ni.. *tepuk tangan untuk kaunter pengawal*

So now, I need dear fiance to go and get his form at JA*WI, fill it up and dapatkan kebenaran berkahwin, then pass to me lah.. tapi kan, peliklah.. Nak kawin pun kena dapatkan kebenaran?? Ingatkan kebenaran wali jer..

Tak sabar lah nak kawin *sambil genggam tangan dan pusing kiri kanan macam budak comel*

Mood Raya dan Bengang

Ok, tajuk di atas tu adalah dua perkara berbeza ok..

::Mood Raya::

Hmm, datang keje pun macam malas lah. Sebab?? Ye lah, orang semua dah pusing2 pasang lagu raya.. Mood raya lah.. Tapi rasanye bukan mood raya pun, tapi mood nak cuti.. YEAY!! ye lah, kompeni tempat aku mencurahkan bakti ni, kalo cuti sampai seminggu.. kan kena make sure kilang takde sangkut2 production?? heheheh.. macam2 nak buat masa tu.. Selain beraya di pagi raya (yang meriah lauk pauk nenek buat jer), aku nak gi nilai 3 ngan mak aku survey2, nak gi SSF Pengantin, nak gi Anggerik Mall, nak survey bunga telur semua lah.. Oh, ingat nak gi survey baju kat Kimie Kajang.. Hmm, nak jahit baju akad nikah tu.. Ada idea tak kat mana?? Ingat nak buat kebaya jer.. kan kan kan? *sesungguhnya aku tiada idea*

Pastu, ingat nak soh sayang bwk gi kubur ayah dia.. Nak laa sedekah surah2 yang patut kan.. hehehe.. Teruk betul lah, No lot ingat, tapi jalan nak pegi situ lupe lah.. Hmm, ape lah nak jadi nie..

Pastu, nak gi settle kan semua yang patut masa tu.. nak daftar kursus kawin lagi.. Oh, rasanye lepas konpem dewan kena terus book Tok Kadi lah.. Dengar citer, minggu sebelum tu dah fullybook.. hmmm...

Pagi raya.. Ingat nak buat rendang ayam.. *owang umah tak suke daging lah*.. Tapi nak buat dua2 kot.. Pastu, nak buat Soto ke nak buat laksa johor ek? hehehe.. Ada kemungkinan beraya di KL, so kena lah buat semua sendiri kan? takpe, ni experience ni.. Kalo sedap, leh soh Mie datang satu famili.. Tapi mebi dia nak gi melawat aunty dia kat perak.. hmmm... Oh raya mungkin di KL sebab nenek di KL lah.. Ke nak buat nasi dagang ek? tapi nasik dagang ni pagi je best.. Laksa Johor lah..

Time2 nak raya ni, harap sangat takde issue besar2 kan? *dengan mata kelip2*.. Saya nak titon je ni, sejukkkk.. pastu, nak laa beraya beraya dan beraya.. heheheh.. seronok tgk budak2 beraya kan?? zaman kite dah lepas dah..

Aku bengang pulak dengan En Mie.. Macam dia sorang je lah yang bz bz bz.. Cakap pun macam nak marah2 jer.. ape lah.. ramdhan lepas dia buat hal.. takkan lah kali ni pun.. hish.. insyaAllah, aku mempercayai En Mie.. Ni pasal invesment lah ni.. Last minute info and things to do.. Tapi marah dia, mengalahkan pompuan lah.. Lama.. Aku lak bile time cool cube cakap baik2, bile dia marah aku terasa lah.. mula laa moncong.. ni pun muncung dah nie.. Betul lah org cakap, time darah manis ni slalu masam2 muka and mende kecik pun nak gadoh.. Haish.. Aku pun ntah kenapa, sensitip over dowh.. mebbi PMS kot?? ye lah.. PMS kan 2 minggu sebelum red flag?? aku kan awal pose dah kena.. ni awal raya laa pulak nie..

Hai, apa laa nasibku ini... Ninna, nak curik ayat ko.. *Desyum desyum debabooommmmm kat muka sendiri*..

Target, Pasang balik TV dalam bilik, pasang PS2 adikku itu, dan main DDR Dance selama minimum 1 jam sehari.. ok tak??

Hmm, ada satu post ni saya dah delete atas sebab2 tertentu.. hik hik hik..

Ok, pasal kerja?
Hmm, saya kemungkinan akan mula sibuk sampai bulan 2 tahun depan.. Tadi meeting bos cakap yang tempoh kritikal busy itu mungkin awal bulan satu lah.. Erk.. panik sekejap.. So nak tak nak, saya pun tanya bos bile exactly tempoh yang busy tu?? Elok saya tanye, saya ditanya balik.. "apesal?? nak kawin??" Erk, saya senyap terus.. tapi ok lah, lepas cakap2 tu, dia kata hmm, mungkin masa tu tak lah busy sangat sebab baru stage 1.. Lega rasa.. Tapi dia pesan, jangan la amik cuti byk lepas kawin.. (kot kot morning sickness ke??) haiyak.. saya cakap insyaAllah awal2 tu tak laa kot.. hehhehe.. (takkan nak cakap semestinye?? itu rezeki kan??).. pastu dia cakap, itu rezeki Allah, kalo ada, jangan tolak.. Yes bos.. I agree.. So saya cakap yang mula2 pk tanak tanya, tapi takut nanti ada masalah time2 nak dekat tu.. Dia pun cakap, bagus lah bagitau, at least dia pun leh wat planning yang strategik.. Fuhh.. tapi saya pun cakap.. "itu laa, mula2 tanak cakap laa, sebab awal lagi.. tapi nak wat cemana??"..

Kesimpulan, saya rasa tindakan bagitau bos awal tu tepat.. Sebab at least tak laa nanti org hangin kan?? apa kata anda??
