Kami ke Puchong lunchtime tadi to pay the kitchen cabinet. Fuhhh sambil megelap peluh di dahi, terketar2 bila nak sign amount yang banyak tu. Tapi kami puas hati lah sebab ada warranty 2 tahun and lepas2 tu kalau ada apa-apa masalah, boleh minta derang buat after sales service ^_^

Sekarang tinggal packing barang2 kecil sebab yang besar2 awal lagi dah masuk kotak. Kotak pun ambil kat office je daripada kena buang kan? Adalah dalam 10-12 kotak kecil dan besar. Pergh, banyak betul barang rupanya.

As for the grill, kami hold dulu. We resorted to window stopper yang ada latch tu. Kat Ikea sepasang dalam RM20 kot. Tapi rasanya hardware shop pun ada dan mungkin murah lagi. So akan ke hardware store asap.

About the mengecat pulak, he decided to do it now since later2 akan remeh sedikit sebab kena alih alih perabot kan (katanya). For me, sukahati lah sayang ku. Asalkan kamu bahagia ^_^. Tapi bersyarat yang grill WAJIB ada later on. And dia kata, grill tu sehari je orang tu buat bising drilling dah siap. Hmm, ye lah sayang, kamu menang. Tapi I am still excited jugak sebab I was given the choice to select the paint colour. hehehe. Still, decision adalah decision bersama. We ended up with barley white, sand-off white, baby blue for little boy and executive beige for both yards. Eh kat depan pintu (antara grill ke pintu) kita panggil yard juga kan?

Paint work will start tomorrow and by Saturday, we will be able to see the result. Oh, crossing fingers sungguh untuk tunggu hasilnya :)

Conversation Suami dan Isteri

Di waktu malam selepas anak bujang dah tidur, W memulakan sesi menggosok baju dan H sedang mengira bajet bajet perbelanjaan rumah baru. Ketika W hampir habis menggosok, H panggil W untuk melihat bajet tersebut.

H: Okay tak kalau kita hold dulu 2 benda ni.
W: *sambil baca* What? Grill is one of it ke???
H: Ha ah. Kita masuk takde grill boleh??
W: ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!!! Jap i habis gosok then kita discuss.

Sambil gosok, W berfikir2. Ye lah, dia cuma mentally prepared untuk pending cat. Sebab macam takpe nanti2 lah kan. but not grill since they are moving to belas belas floor. bukan nya 2-3 floor.

H: Dah fikir ke? Ke ada option lain.
W: No compromise on our anak safety. By hook or by crook, kena ada grill (kuasa ibu mula menyelinap masuk).
H: Ye lah, nanti kita fikir lagi.

Tiba-tiba terasa macam queen control. wakakaka.. ini adalah dia bukak mana2 website ada kata window latch lock ke apa ke kan. For me, grill is not an option. It is a "GO-NO GO" on the moving success ^_^

Project: Home_04

hiks hiks hiks. After searching for hi and lo, from SA to Seri*Kembangan to Ampang*Waterfront, FINALLY we settled down with furniture from Ca***zi. We got a good deal (I think). For a bedroom set plus another wardrobe of same kind and customize to our needs sikit2, a dining set for 6 persons, a small sofa for little bos, shoe rack yang tinggi tu, dapat free pillow2, we spent a sum which is reasonable and within our budget :)

Yeay to ourselves!!! LEGA.

On our kitchen cabinet pulak, I am very satisfied with the finishing. Teliti sungguh mamat tu buat kerja. Smooth and cermat :) Nanti I post gambar di sini. Tapi jangan terkejut bila tengok yang saya pilih pintu cabinet warna putih ash white. Dapur saya kecik, maka saya memilih warna putih nak kasi nampak sedang-sedang saja. Table top pula saya pilih warna black galaxy. Tapi saya rasa cantik di mata saya, kira okay lah kan?

Things that we are still hunting tapi dah tahu kat mana nak purchase sebab kedai tu kasi paling paling murah is.... tempsmart comfort deluxe dari slumberland. Walaupun ramai kata tilam dia tak sebagus yang tempsmart 1200 (walaupun CD tu pun 1200 pocketed spring), selepas baring atas kedua-dua jenis, saya decide untuk comfort deluxe. Warranty kan 10 tahun, so kalau tilam tu lembik awal dari tu, claim lah balik kan? (senang je cakap).

Almari yang ada sticker2 untuk anak pun masih mencari. Bukan mengada nak beli, tapi hari tu dia nampak kat Bahagia, dan terus tarik kami ke almari tu sambil mulut potpet bahasa dia sambil tunjuk2 setiap laci tu. Mungkin dia cerita yang each ruang tu nak isi apa kot? Hihihi. So cute sampai kami berazam untuk belikan jugak. Siap bila kami tarik dia ke kanan, dia insist untuk ke kiri.. Cute bukan?

OK, rasanya ni je kot dulu.. Sampai everything dah confirm, I will post the pictures ya :)

Cantik kan ini? Oh sangat berkenan. Actually dalam sibuk nak fikir apa yang perlu dan tak perlu, sambil kepala excited nak buat bilik anak ^_^

I never knew that moving out could be this hard. Yeah, of course I'm feeling excited and all, especially with the window shopping moments, deciding on the kitchen cabinets design, selecting the tiles and door frame, sketching on how my little Ashraf's room going to be like. But seriously... PENAT.

We listed all the things yang kena ada for both me and husband. We ended up making a long list and going over the estimated budget. Hmmph.

Basically, apa sebenarnya benda yang perlu ada?

Atas nasihat MIL and my mother, we did our kitchen cabinet before moving in. Takpe lah, later on senang. But our other long list tu macam mana ye. Memang tengah perah otak mana yang nak cancel off. The list:

• Mattress and bed
• Wardrobe
• Paint
• Grill (I cannot compromise on this since I will be staying on the higher floor)
• TV (he said he wants to stay home and watch all his favourite things)
• TV cabinet
• Dining table
• Washing Machine / Dryer (no laundry services for us)
• Sofa at living hall
• Fridge
• Mover cost

Haa see... Most of the items are the basic item at home. Gimana sih mau kurangkan nih?

Project: Home

To those who knows, I am in the midst of moving out from my parents' house to my own apartment in Damansara Perdana. I think it's about time since my little boy will reach mark 2 in few months, and barang-barang dia saja dah memenuhi setiap pelosok ruang kosong yang ada.

But moving out is not easy. First, with my dad's condition, hati mau keras beb nak keluar ni. But we (me and hubby) agreed that we will drop by as frequent as possible. Maybe we will be kaum nomad untuk sementara ni sampai dia sihat. 3 hari sini 4 hari sana ke macam mana ke kan.

Second, the budget to install built in kitchen cabinets and to fill up the house memang lah costly. Ini pun dah budget2 ni. Tu pun mencecah-cecah melepasi line budget juga tu. Nasib baik lah lampu kipas langsir semua dah buat awal-awal sebelum the house tenanted last year. fuhh.

But the excitement of pilih barang, jalan-jalan memang best :) OK, nanti kami dah pindah, I will post pictures ya. Maybe sometime next month or the month after.
